Body Illustration Color (BIC) Temporary Tattoos
A design is hand-painted on your skin with a brush of vibrant, colorful, high-pigmentated ink that is activated with 99% isopropyl alcohol. BIC temp tattoos are water tolerant, they last 3-5 days and are easily removed with 70%isopropl alcohol. Men & boys particularly like BIC temp tattoos because the black ink is very opaque and the tattoos look real. (Pool-friendly, water tolerant, you can swim or shower in them and your the BIC temp tattoos won’t come off!)
Glitter Art Temporary Tattoos
A design is hand-painted on your skin with a brush with a Latex-free formulated for skin acrylic adhesive (skin glue). A fine-grade cosmetic polyester glitter (LOTS of colors to choose from) is applied on the design for a fantastic & fun sparkling tattoo. Glitter tattoos last for between 3-5 days, remove easily with baby oil and 70% isopropl alcohol. (Pool-friendly, water tolerant, you can swim or shower and your beautiful temp tattoos won’t come off!)
Henna Temporary Tattoos
also known as Mehndi, is the ancient art of body painting with a paste made from powdered leaves from the henna plant (Lawsonia Inermis) and natural ingredients of fresh citrus, essential oils and sugar. Henna paste is used to draw designs on the skin, much like a cake decorator uses frosting to decorate a cake. As a natural cosmetic, Henna originated in the Middle East and North Africa and is used by a wide variety of cultures and ethnic groups for celebrations including weddings, holidays, and coming-of-age rituals. Henna tattoos can last between 1-3 weeks if you follow your after-care instructions.
Temporary Airbrush Tattoos (TATs)
Airbrush Tattoos are applied to your skin with a plastic or mylar stencil and alcohol or water-based inks.
They're FUN, painless, safe & non-permanent. TATs only take a minute to apply and with care can last between 4-7 days...they're realistic looking, but they're only temporary -- you won’t have them on for ever! Get a TAT before you go for a 'permanent skin illustration' (make sure you like the design and location first before you have a permanent tattoo applied. Some airbrush ink formulas are water based, some are alcohal based, all are water tolerant, non-toxic and hypo allergenic. Water based inks are easily removed with warm water and gentle soap. Alcohol based inks are easily removed with baby oil and 70% isopropyl alcohol.
Temporary "For Now" Dauber & Stencil Tattoos
resemble Airbrush Tattoos but they're hand-applied with a dauber instead of airbrushed on the skin. You can choose a design from a wide array of mylar adhesive-back stencils that are applied with shimmer inks or you can have a Glitter Tattoo created with your the mylar stencils. For Now Inks are water based, acid free, hypo-alergenic cosmetic grade pigment. They are safe, painless and temporary. After they're applied, they usually last between 3 - 5 days before they start to wear off. They're water tolerant, don't come off unless rubbed, they don't stain your skin, because the colors contain cosmetic grade pigments, not dyes. For Now tats are easy to remove at any time – just rub tattoo with a warm soapy washcloth, they dissolve easily -- and don't leave any trace of color.
Black Temporary Tattoos
Men & boys particularly like black temp tattoos because they resemble "Are those real?" traditional tattoos. Jagua, BIC and Temptu are the most popular BLACK temp tattoo inks available and are used in the special effects and movie industry. Jagua is made from plant fibers, similiar to henna in that it is 100% natural (but often unavailable in the US) BIC and Temptu inks are activated with 99% isopropyl alcohol and and when applied the inks are very dark opaque black and when powdered with Talcum, they resemble traditional tattoos. BIC, Jagua & Temptu Tats are water tolerant, last between 3-5 days, you can swim and bath with them, and they won't come off unless rubbed.
Black Henna
I do not use Black Henna. It is unsafe, harmful and toxic. I paint with BIC, Temptu and Jagua as temporary black tattoo inks. Black henna is harmful and should be avoided! Unethical people put black shoe polish, india ink and black chemical dye in their henna paste to stain your skin black. PPD, is illegal in the USA and prohibited for use on the skin by the FDA.
